need 4 luv is a cooperative multiplayer RPG in which a team of 3 to 5 people and an engineer (a.k.a. the GM) pilot a giant mech through a dating-sim/action show. Players will act as pilots describing the "emotional" and "physiological" responses of their mech to situations such as romance, fighting kaiju, and interpersonal conflict. 

Recommended age limit: 18+ due to role-play of romantic scenarios

This is the first version of this product and feedback on how to play or requests for more direction would be greatly appreciated. 

About the creator & concept: My name is Tommy, and I am a sex educator. This game is an adaptation of the Dual Control Model of Sexual Response. It is meant to help illustrate the "gas pedal-brake pedal" metaphor of how humans and our bodies respond to stimuli sexually (and non-sexually). The game uses a token system to explain how the body (or mech) responds to stimuli and to illustrate how we devote our energy to a given context or situation.

About the artist: Andy Gordon is a Knoxville-based illustrator and comic book artist. He graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2022 with an MFA in Sequential Art and has been busy telling stories with his art. In August 2023, he released his first self-published comic book, Benny and the Lich through a successful Kickstarter campaign.
